Free informative books and other material for the youth













The UNAU Library is well stocked with a variety of books that the youth can access freely at any time  for their research or reading pleasure thus  increasing  their knowledge.

The books are classified in specific categories that make it easy for readers to access (books of their interest .) These categories include; UN information, World Bank, Land Alliance, Development, Millennium Development Goals, Gender and Violence, Development, Periodicals, Private Sector, Government sector, Policies and finances, Children, Poverty and Pollution, Human rights, Education, Environment, Food security and Agriculture, and Health.
These sections comprise of magazine, books and all necessary material that readers may desire.

As  one of UNAU aims and objectives, we endeavor to provide our members and the community with the necessary information. Access to our library books is totally free and the  only requirement is that one must  belong to any of our UNAU -chapters.

This restriction is a measure to enable us monitor and maintain the count of our library books. It also helps us identify the persons who has borrow our books thus giving us proper accountability  of all  library stationary.
Additionally, it ensures that borrowers take responsibility (good care) of the information material  borrowed hence keeping our stationary  in  good condition for the next generations  to come so they can also reap from it.

Daily newspaper issues that is; The Daily Monitor, New Vision, Redpepper, Bukedde, The East African, The Independent, Olumuri and The Observer are always available for our readers. We also keep previously published copies  just incase readers need them for reference.
