Islamic University chapter takes on new leaders

The General Secretary of United Nations Association of Uganda (UNAU) Mr. Baguma has urged students put in much effort in their academics just as they do in their co-curricular activities such as sports

He was speaking on 28th April 2011at the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) Kibuli Campus during the official handover ceremony for the new executive of the UNAU chapter.

Baguma thanked the outgoing members for the tremendous work done and challenged the new crew to perform better.

In his address, Mr. Ssegilinya Ali the patron IUIU was grateful for the commitment and endless efforts shown by the students while pursuing their goals and encouraged them not to take UNAU activities for granted because they get experience and knowledge in the process.

The planting of two fruit-trees in the University compound and awarding certificates to the outgoing executive members crowned the ceremony.
